Description

Sandpaper time!--> PICTURE 1

When we have the two swords, and retire the leftover wood, we can continue. The next step is pass for all Sogyo no Kotowari's surface a sandpaper for make it uniformed. We made it with sandpaper, because we are worried about use the machine on the bifurcation.

You have to pass the sandpaper again and again until the two swords have a similar texture. The idea is that, when you pass fingers above your sword, you can note that the sword made a beeline, without lumps. Another option is use the sanding machine in the blade, but I recommend you use the sandpaper with the harpoon.

TUBES!

Cut 4 wood pieces of the size of Sogyo no Kotowari tubes. For made them, I use the remaining pieces of 1,5cm thickness from initial wood. When you cut the four pieces, glue them to the sword and tie up them with a clamp. We made this step on night, and let it dry overnight.

The next day, with the pieces glued, remove the clamp and put putty in the unions. (Our putty is red, and very difficult to apply). Another time, you have to wait until the putty is dried.

And when glue and putty are dried, you will have a Sogyo no Kotowari like this---> PICTURE 2

Do you remember our friend, the sandpaper? It's a good moment for a reconciliation! Use the sandpaper for make round the tubes! ^^

We'll end the tubes in the next tutorial and we'll start with the tsuba!!
